| Although I think it would be worthwhile to dig up some back to back comparisons. From what I recall in school the turbulence was beneficial to keep the fuel atomized/suspended in the air on its path to the cylinder. If that holds true, the lower manifold should be left alone (or a minor transition area smoothed) and the upper plenum ported for optimum performance.
